Investigating the Impact of Intellectual Capital on the Sustainable Financial Performance of Private Sector Banks in India

The study aims to investigate the impact of intellectual capital (I.C) on sustainable financial performance (F.P) private sector banks (PSBs) in India. Data were gathered from 17 between 2010 and 2021 using Prowessiq (CMIE) their annual reports. To evaluate ways which affects (F.P), modified value-added coefficient (MVAIC) methodology was applied. human (HC), employed (CE), structural (SC), relational (RC) utilized as independent factors together with three control variables (leverage, size, GDP), return (ROCE), equity (ROE), used dependent variables. results show that RC SC have a clear, statistically significant relationship ROCE. Additionally, HC CE direct positive effect ROE. Overall, all I.C. components impacts increasing efficiency profitability Indian banks. Furthermore, total exhibits negative association ROE but substantial It is advised policymakers managers focus more various I.C because they are key engines generating value for order preserve F.P.
